Hello! My name is Kristin and I am a personal style and lifestyle blogger. I created this blog to document my style and life as it changes over time. Just like how beauty and fashion trends evolve, so do we. As people, we mature along side our mindsets and appearances. Style is not exclusively what we see on the pages of glossy magazines or elaborate runways. Style is something that is fiercely personal and unique to you. The ever busy city of New York inspires me and I thrive under the sparkling city lights. I see inspiration everywhere and that is expressed through my personal style. I enjoy writing and literature in addition to my interest in fashion. I am currently a college student pursuing bachelors degrees in English and secondary education. I value positivity, laughter, and things that sparkle. Rose teas, French macarons, and silk blouses are my guilty pleasures. I might have a slight obsession with nail polish and a love affair with shoes.
Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "Do what you are afraid to do". I have always been hesitant to put myself on the internet because I fear judgement from people who don't even know me. As I mature I grow more secure with myself and my appearance, giving me the courage to finally create The Chic Plethora. I hope all of you find the courage to openly express yourself or do what you have always wanted to do.
